About 3D Imaging
Because your health is our priority, we are one of the few General Dentistry offices in Atlanta who offer 3D Imaging on site! 3D Imaging is the latest technology in dentistry for accurate diagnoses and treatment planning of complex dental issues.
While traditional 2D x-rays are still the best standard of care for diagnosing cavities and other issues directly related to your teeth, 3D images help us diagnose any pain issues that are not evident on 2D x-rays. Since they are taken outside the mouth, they also give us a more comfortable way to make diagnoses on patients who struggle with traditional x-rays, such as gag reflexes or tori.
Because the use of state-of-the-art technology is of the utmost importance in our practice, we utilize 3D imaging and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) to take a 360 degree scan, or X-ray, of a patient's head. The 3D imaging technology then projects the compiled images onto our computer screen so that we have an extremely detailed overview of our patient's current oral healthcare status before moving forward. From this stage, our skilled dentists can make decisions and suggestions to determine the next step in a patient's oral healthcare plan. If you have any questions about 3D imaging, feel free to contact our front office staff, we are happy to help!

Digital x-rays incorporate the latest technology to give the most accurate image while using less radiation than typical x-rays. They are aslo ecco-friendly in that there are no chemicals needed to process them and no plastic base copies to later be disposed. They appear instantly on a computer screen and can be easily transmitted to you or a refering doctor.
Skip Making Molds
With 3D imaging and our use of Cerec technologies, most patients can skip the mold making all together, and see for themselves how their treatment will progress right there on the monitor. We can also utilize these images to create more accurate dental implants, crowns, onlays/inlays, and more. It streamlines the process a little more, making the treatments better planned and performed with fewer issues.

Comprehensive Care for All
Not all dental offices offer the same treatments or the same technology for their patients. You can take advantage of our 3D imaging, CEREC-crafted restorations, and more, to create a more accurate and efficient dental treatment. We would be happy to set up a consultation between you and Dr. Sayeg. During this consultation, patients can expect to have their teeth examined, discuss their options, and learn more about our unique machines. Come see for yourself why patients love our technology.
